Olivia Munn is showing her support for Kate Middleton following the news of her shocking cancer diagnosis.
On Friday, Munn, who recently revealed her own battle with breast cancer earlier this month, was amongst the thousands of fans wishing Middleton well as she undergoes preventative chemotherapy treatment. In a heartfelt note addressed to the Princess of Wales, Munn commented under the original Instagram post announcing the news, writing: "Thank you for showing what it’s like to fight with grace and determination for yourself and for your family. Wishing you all the best. 🤍🤍🤍."
Other celebrities also sent their love Middleton's way, with Catherine Zeta Jones telling the princess, “Wales and the World is with you ♥️ HRH Princess of Wales. Love to you always.” Gwyneth Paltrow, for her part, touted Middleton as "a pillar of grace and strength," while cancer survivor Rita Wilson urged fans to "send your prayers and good thoughts to Kate for a cancer free future!”
In an Instagram post of her own, Munn announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, and has since undergone a double mastectomy. I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey," she wrote alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed.
“I’ve tended to let people see me when I have energy, when I can get dressed and get out of the house, when I can take my baby boy to the park,” Munn explained elsewhere in her post. “I’ve kept the diagnosis and the worry and the recovery and the pain medicine and the paper gowns private. I needed to catch my breath and get through some of the hardest parts before sharing.”
