Tina Turner’s career in the music industry was nothing short of iconic, and her family life was equally heartwarming as a mother and grandmother.

However, Tina Turner son tied the knot with Afida Turner, a French-American singer, and they were blessed with two children, who were Tina Turner grandchildren.

Tina had two biological children, Craig and Ronald, and she also adopted her ex-husband’s sons, Ike Jr. and Michael, embracing them as her own.

Surprisingly, Tina’s role extended to being a proud grandmother, as she had the happiness of having two grandchildren.

During her marriage to Ike Turner, Tina gave birth to her son Ronald “Ronnie” Turner in 1960. Ronnie became a bass player in Tina’s band and later joined a band with Ike.

In 1989, she gave an interview addressing Ike’s criticisms of her parenting skills and discussing her relationship with Ronnie, highlighting her dedication as a mother.

She stated that her husband had left her alone to take care of his children without providing any financial support.

Tina explained that it was a difficult task to raise both his and her kids. Ike had accused Tina of being a bad mother to Ronnie, but she had provided him with everything a child could ask for, including private schools and allowances.

Sadly, at the age of 62, Ronnie surrendered to complications arising from metastatic colon carcinoma in December 2022 and passed away. Sadly, after almost four months, Tina Turner also left this world to be reunited with his son.
